Today's game was always going to be tough as Darenth are in the legaue above us. In their last game against the Blues, they only lost 2-1, so we knew we would have a battle on our hands.
We started OK. Then they scored! We didn't drop our heads and kept on plugging away, but things didn't pan out well. We only had eleven to start, as we were let down by a couple of players who didn't bother to turn up and didn't even have the courtesy to pick up the phone! Those present gave a good performance, bearing in mind the opposition. We could have done more, but didn't. Never mind. Still there's more games so we can still try to improve where we are lacking. Keep going boys! Well done.
